at least by name. Yet the US continues to fight Taliban and Taliban-allied militias in Afghanistan, while the insurgents that
the mainstream press has depicted as some kind of yellow horde, or infidels at the gates of Vienna, now reportedly “just
sixty miles” from Islamabad, also call themselves the Taliban.
